These past two weeks have been good and bad, stressful and exciting and everything in between. I handed in my final assignments and finished uni for third year, packed up all my belongings and went home for summer. Here is a few highlights of my past two weeks...
Finished Second Year
I've had a brilliant year, which I started to look at in my last post. With some amazing times with friends, the start of my relationship with Josh, and also some very stressful moments trying to cope with assignments. Handing in my final essays was the best feeling, however I'm also really looking forward to third year but also incredibly nervous about it.
Got a Job
On Thursday I had an interview at the new Centre Parcs that is opening in Woburn, and I got offered a job at the interview! I'm obviously really excited to have a job over summer and be earning some money, but I'm also slightly regretting agreeing to doing full time hours, as this leaves me very little free time to do all the things I'd hoped to do this summer.
Saw the Bestie
On Wednesday my best friend drove over to visit me and we spent the day catching up. She's going to be spending the summer working in Portsmouth, and this is one of the reasons I wish I wasn't working so many hours, as I won't be able to see much of her with us both working, but hopefully I'll be able to visit her and see the seaside!
I spent lots of money! I decided to treat myself to a few bits and bobs as a 'well done' for finishing second year, and then again for getting a job. These few bits turned in to lots of bits, but I love everything I got, including some dresses and a pair of heels I just couldn't leave behind. I wore some of these new bits on my final night out with my uni friends, and you can see what I wore on my instagram here.
Had a Weekend With Josh
With us both having the weekend off work Josh decided to come spend the weekend at mine. After getting use to seeing him every day at uni going a week had been difficult, so seeing him was so lovely and we had a great time. We went shopping, had some great food and I got as many cuddles as I could get before he left, as I might not see him for 4 weeks, which is going to suck!
I'm looking forward to getting into a routine with work, although I'm hoping I'll still be able to spend time with friends, see Josh and do some fun summer things. Hopefully you've all had a great few weeks, and if you're still struggling with exams and essays then GOOD LUCK!
